CASCADE
CHEMICALS has been in operation since 1986 as a manufacturer,
marketer and distributor of industrial maintenance and cleaning
products, speciality chemical products, household consumer
cleaning products and specialised solvent based metallic
lacquers. Products are marketed under the CASCADE and CASSIE
brand name.
An
Industrial chemist on our staff ensures that we are technologically
well able to develop, test, evaluate and manufacture high
performance products that are effective and economical.
In addition, sales staff are well trained and technically
competent to handle and resolve problems, as well as assist
in training the personnel of major customers.
The
factory is located in Park Central, Johannesburg, and includes
a well equipped production control laboratory for both product
development and quality control purposes, as well as a fully
integrated manufacturing facility. At present the production
facility is capable of producing up to 250 000 litres of
liquids and 30 000 Kg of powdered products.
Sales
and marketing activities are concentrated in the Gauteng,
Mpumalanga, Northern province, Swaziland, Lesotho and the
Free State at present, with a network of Distributors in
the major rural centres, as well as the major coastal centres.
The range of products include detergents, degreasers,
disinfectants, metal treatment products, metallic solvent
lacquers, hand cleaners, decarbonisers, floor care chemicals,
sanitisers and disinfectants for the meat processing and
the food and beverage industry. As well as auto care and
garage products, laundry and textile cleaning products,
building maintenance chemicals and floor care and carpet
care chemicals.
Major
customer categories include mines, hostels, hospitals, municipalities,
provincial authorities, food and beverage processing plants
(meat and poultry hygiene), cleaning companies, Supermarkets
and Hypermarkets, automotive industry, Spoornet, catering
canteens, contract manufacturing of specialised products,
restaurants and hospitality industries.
